Perlucidibaca is a genus of Gram-negative, oxidase-positive and catalase-negative, motile bacteria with a polar flagellum, which belong to the class Gammaproteobacteria.[2][3] So far, this genus contains a single species (Perlucidibaca piscinae).[1]
