Parmakkurdu is a village in the Akdeniz district of Mersin Province, Turkey, which itself is a part of Greater Mersin. It is situated on the southern slopes of the Taurus Mountains. Its distance to the city is about 20 kilometres (12 mi). The population of the village was 1,184 as of 2012.[1]
