Pachiot

Pachiot is the largest union council in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, and administers the following villages: Before 1947 Pachiot consisted of large area between Goi Nala and Nala Mahall. There was a local court that comprised five villages that is the basis of name pachiot. Pachiot comprises Datote,Harrola, Shoukatabad Harrola Rehera, Hurnamera, Bangoin, Tain and their adjacent small villages but now-a-days it has been reduced to Barain and its adjacent villages like Datote, Jovarabad, Paniola, Bagiana, Chiroti, Barain, Ballari, Khairian, Lagiryat, Numbl, Sumlary, Baglay Sangal Khater, Sair Gohra, Argali, Topi, Bari Danna, Baroota and many other small villages. Pachiot is very beautiful place in Kashmir. There are many visiting areas like Baroota, Kherian, Barain, Datote and balari. people of this village are very brave and honest. pachiot is the center of all union concils of LA20. this union council connect all union councils with each other. Many peoples sacrifice in 1947.
