The Oregon Community Foundation was established in 1973 and its mission is to improve life in Oregon and promote effective philanthropy.[1] The OCF works with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create charitable funds to support the community causes they care about. Through these funds, OCF awards more than $55 million annually in grants and scholarships.[2] According to the Foundation Center, it is the eighth largest community foundation in the United States as ranked by asset size in U.S. dollars as of 2012.[3]
