Optiver
Optiver which stands for optie verhandelaar, or "options" and "trader" is an multinational high frequency trading company.[1] Optiver was founded in 1986 by Johann Kaemingk and has offices in Amsterdam, Chicago, Sydney, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taiwan.[1] In 2012, it was fined 14 million USD for manipulating oil prices.[2] In 2016, it was identified as part of a consortium to build a faster data transmission network between Chicago and Tokyo.[3]
