Opogona trichoceros is a moth of the Tineidae family. It is found in New Guinea.
The wingspan is about 13 mm. The forewings are dark purplish-fuscous with an orange-yellow elongate mark on the costa about one-third and an orange-yellow subquadrate blotch on the dorsum towards the base, its upper posterior angle produced into a long pointed projection. The hindwings are dark fuscous, the basal half orange-yellow, the division suffused.[1]
