North Point Church is an Assemblies of God church located in Springfield, Missouri, Nixa, Missouri and Joplin, Missouri. When North Point launched in 2003, we knew Springfield didn’t need just another church. We wanted to be a church where everyone was welcome and that anyone would feel comfortable coming to, no matter where they were coming from. We also wanted to be a church that put our faith into action and made giving back to our community a priority. We started as a church plant in an old movie theater in North Springfield, and we are now a multi-site church with 3 locations in the Southwest Missouri area and with a growing Give Back ministry that is restoring our communities with hope and help.
Our Mission Is Simple: We want to be a safe place where people can find and follow Jesus. That means that we don’t judge or care where you came from. We just care that you’re here. That also means that we don’t point fingers at anyone but ourselves as we examine the claims of Christ, knowing that we’ve got just as much growing and learning to do as anyone else. We believe in being challenged by the words of scripture, and that being a Christian doesn’t mean following “doctrines,” it means following Jesus’ words in our daily lives and being people who are what we say we are and whose actions speak louder than words.
