The North Omotic or Nomotic languages belong to the Omotic branch of the Afro-Asiatic family and are spoken in Ethiopia.
Glottolog does not accept that Omotic languages have been demonstrated to be Afroasiatic, nor that a relationship has been demonstrated between Mao, Dizoid, and Gonga–Gimojan / Ta-Ne-Omotic (everything else).[1]
