The North Division Three is a league for shinty teams but is currently in abeyance. It was previously until 2015 the only league in the fifth tier of the Shinty league system. The winners of the league are promoted to the North Division Two.
As of 2010, the league is known for sponsorship reasons as the Marine Harvest North Division Three..
In 2014, due to league reconstruction, the league was reduced in size. In 2015, the teams involved were merged into a re-constructed North Division Two.

History
At various times in its history the North Division Three has varied in regards to its status.
The North Division Three was first played for in 1974-75 for the John MacRae Cup. It was usually the top reserve league in shinty and was often won by wither Newtonmore or Kingussie's second team
Between 1996 and 1999, the North Division Three became the fourth tier with the creation of a national Premier Division
