Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant was an influential Rotterdam-based liberal daily newspaper published between 1844 and 1970.
History and profile
Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant was founded in 1844[1] by Henricus Nijgh.
The paper merged in 1970 with the Amsterdam-based liberal daily newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad to form the NRC Handelsblad.[1]
