Henderson New Star was established in April 2009 when Henderson Group acquired New Star Asset Management and rebranded its UK retail business.[1] Henderson New Star was rebranded Henderson Global Investors in April 2010.[2]

Henderson Global Investors manages a diverse range of funds with particular strengths in equities, fixed income, commercial property, multi-manager and sustainable and responsible investing (SRI).[3]

Henderson Global Investors employs a multi-boutique approach. Its fund managers (including several of the investment management industry’s most highly rated performers such as Bill McQuaker, Richard Pease, John Pattullo and James Gledhill)[4] are given the flexibility and freedom to set their own investment philosophies and processes, allowing them to generate fund outperformance within a tightly controlled risk management framework.
