Nether is a first-person multiplayer survival game for Windows[2] developed by Phosphor Games and was first available October 29, 2013.
Gameplay
Nether is a first-person, multiplayer, survival game, where the player must survive in a landscape based loosely on Chicago (where the developers are based).[3] You must scavage the world for supplies and fight off the evil monsters that are hunting for you. But monsters are not the only things coming to get you. Players are also a danger and you can fight over items as well as territory. A server can have up to 64 players and the map has up to 150 blocks of houses and beyond the city lies wasteland. The game has a 57/100 metacritic score.[4]
Developers
Phosphor Games Studio is a Chicago-based game development studio. Some games they developed are: "The Dark Meadow", "Øystein suger kukk" and "Horn".[5]
