Nerea Pena Abaurrea (born 13 December 1989)[1] is a Spanish handball player who plays for the Hungarian team Ferencvárosi TC.[2] She is also member of the Spanish national team.[3]
She competed at the 2010 European Women's Handball Championship, where the Spanish team placed 11th, and Penea was voted into the All-Star Team.[4]
She competed at the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil,[5] where the Spanish team placed third.
