NayaTel is a fiber to the home (FTTH) services provider based in Islamabad, Pakistan and is a sister concern of Micronet Broadband. The company launched FTTH network in September 2006 making it the first one to do so in South Asia.[1] The triple play services (cable television, telephony, and broadband) offered by NayaTel are limited to the twin cities, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.[2]
High Definition TV channels
The company is also the first to launch High Definition channels in Pakistan under their cable TV services. Consumers are required to pay an additional one-time fee to have an HD-supported set-top box in order to view HD Channels.
Achievements
During 2011, NayaTel ranked 2 on the list of Pakistan Fast Growth 25, a ranking of fast growth entrepreneurial companies.[3] The Pakistan Fast Growth 25 is a program of AllWorld Network in partnership with Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter and was launched in collaboration with JS Bank Limited.[4]
