Nassfeld or Naßfeld (Slovene: Mokrine, Italian: Passo di Pramollo) is a ski-resort in the Austrian state of Carinthia (state), district Hermagor. It is located at the Nassfeld Pass and contains over 220 snow machines for creating artificial snow, 110 km of ski tracks and 30 ski lifts. The cable car lift called Millennium-Express takes you up to the top (1919 meters) in less than 15 minutes- The ski resort ranges in elevation from 600 meters to 2000 meters above sea level. It is also a good destination for mountain hiking and offers more than 1000 km of hiking trails. There is a lake called Pressegger lake nearby, where people can swim in the summer.
Skiing
The area is popular for skiing, with many lifts. It has 30 lifts: 5 Gondolas, 4 Six-Seater Chairlifts, 4 four-seater chairlifts and 17 tow lifts. It has one of Carinthia's longest runs, Carnia, at 7.6 Kilometers in length. Many people from all over Europe visit the resort every year.
