Narendra Jha (born in Madhubani, Bihar) is a well-known actor, who played Dr. Meer Hilal in Vishal Bharadwaj's 2014 Haider. Also seen as Raj Bansal the main antagonist in the movie Ghayal Returns, which is the sequel of Ghayal released in 1990. The journey continues with the films like Hamaari Adhuri Kahani, Mohenjodaro Shorgul and up coming projects like My Father Iqbal, Force 2, Raees, Kabil and The End.
Narendra Jha's acting journey began in 1992 when he enrolled in SRCC acting diploma course after his post graduation in history from JNU, New Delhi. When he came to Mumbai, he was flooded with modeling offers and he became the popular face of the ad world. Having done more than 20 TV serials, he was finalized to play an important role in the 2002 movie Funtoosh. The next year he was cast to play Habibur Rahman in the film Neta Ji Shubhash Chandra Bose, The Last Hero directed by Shyam Benegal. However, this association with Shyam babu continued and Shyam Babu again cast him to play Mohammed Ali Jinnah in Samvidhaan.[1][2][3][4][5]
