Nappy Boy Entertainment is an American record label founded by Hip Hop and R&B artist T-Pain.[1] The label is distributed by RCA Records, and formerly by Jive Label Group. The label's roster of artists includes Tay Dizm, Gym Class Heroes front man Travie McCoy, Sophia Fresh, Shawnna, and Field Mob.
In May 2008, T-Pain announced that he would like to take Nappy Boy Entertainment to a new business venture which will turn his company digital, by releasing albums and songs online via iTunes, ringtones and other types of online distribution some time in the future. The new venture, Nappy Boy Digital, focuses on albums and songs released as downloads and ringtones, with few physical releases.[2][3]
Featured in the Nappy Boy logo, is the Florida State Capitol representing Tallahassee, Florida, where T-Pain was born.
