Music Inspired by the Lord of the Rings is the fourth studio album by Mostly Autumn. The music is not inspired by the book by Tolkien, but was made because the first movie of the filmcycle The Lord of the Rings film trilogy was filmed and announced. The recording of the album took a fortnight in the Fairview Studios in Hull. It was their first studio album for Classic Rock Legends.
