Mujeres de negro, is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carlos Moreno for Televisa.[1]It premiere on August 22, 2016.[1]A total of 50 episodes have been confirmed so far.[2]

The main protagonists are Alejandra Barros, Mayrín Villanueva and Ximena Herrera. Leticia Calderón and Arturo Peniche are main antagonists, with Diego Olivera and Alexis Ayala.[2][1]

Plot

Three women, Jackie (Alejandra Barros), Vanessa (Mayrín Villanueva) and Katia (Ximena Herrera), are living unhappy marriages. Jackie is violently mistreated by her husband, Lorenzo (Francisco Gattorno). Vanessa's husband, Julio (Alexis Ayala) is involved in an illegal business that is constantly putting Vanessa and their son, Diego, in danger. Lastly, Nicolás (Mark Tacher), Katia's husband, has fallen in a deep depression that has left Katia in charge of their home. Tired of their misery, the three women decide that the only way that they will be happy again is if they get rid of their husbands for good.
