The Žalec Gold Diggers are an American football team from Žalec, Slovenia, which was formed in 2008. The Gold Diggers competed in the Slovenian Football League in the inaugural 2009–10 season, where they lost all six games.
History
The Žalec Gold Diggers were formed in 2008, becoming the fourth Slovenian American Football club.[2] Until 2016, the team was known as the Mozirje Gold Diggers.
