Mount Deildenapen

Mount Deildenapen (71°24′S 12°46′E / 71.400°S 12.767°E / -71.400; 12.767Coordinates: 71°24′S 12°46′E / 71.400°S 12.767°E / -71.400; 12.767) is a broad mountain mass rising to 2,050 metres (6,730 ft) and forming the east wall of Deildedalen Valley in the Östliche Petermann Range, Wohlthat Mountains. It was discovered and plotted from air photos by the Third German Antarctic Expedition, 1938–39. It was replotted from air photos and surveys by the Sixth Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1956–60, and named Deildenapen (the dividing mountain).^[1]
