Motherland |
Motherland is a British sitcom, all about navigating the trials and traumas of middle-class motherhood.[2]
A pilot episode, written by a team including Graham Linehan and Sharon Horgan, was first broadcast on BBC 2 on 6 September 2015 as part of BBC 2's "Sitcom Season".[3][2] It starred Anna Maxwell Martin as Julia an overstressed working mother, trying to juggle the demands of her children, her husband and her job.
The BBC subsequently ordered a full series.[1]
