Moscow, Virginia

Moscow is a small village in Augusta County about 8 miles (13 km) south of Bridgewater, Virginia located on State Route 42 with only a few residents left. It consists of a Brethren church, elementary school named North River Elementary (for surrounding area), cabinet shop, a couple houses, and a gas and grocery store. This is mostly a business area for the Mount Solon, Virginia area.

North River High School was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.[1]
