Monash University Faculty of Engineering

The Monash University Faculty of Engineering is one of the largest engineering faculties in Australia, with about 5,500 students in 2012.[1]

It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, from bachelor's degrees through to PhD. The faculty was established when the University opened in 1961, when there were 23 students enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering course, all male. Female students were admitted in 1964.[2] The faculty comprises several departments and schools including  :

The Faculty of Engineering operates at the Clayton campus in Australia and on the Sunway campus in Malaysia. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees as well as research higher degrees (Master of Engineering Science (Research),PhD) .
