Monale is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Turin and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 948 and an area of 9.1 square kilometres (3.5 sq mi).[1]
Monale borders the following municipalities: Asti, Baldichieri d'Asti, Castellero, Cinaglio, Cortandone, Maretto, and Villafranca d'Asti.
