Minnesota Rugby Football Union
The Minnesota Rugby Football Union (MNRFU) is the Local Area Union (LAU) for Rugby Union teams in the state of Minnesota. The MNRFU is part of the Midwest Rugby Football Union (MRFU), one of the seven Territorial Area Unions (TAU's) that comprise USA Rugby.[1]

In 2011, both Metropolis sides earned spots in the Sweet 16 held in Manassas, VA on May 21–22. The DI team lost both matches while the DIII team won both matches, this advanced them to the Final Four in Glendale CO. The Killer B's first match was against the South Bay Rhinos from San Bernardino, CA. A big comeback got the Rhinos only so far and Metropolis went on to win 24–19 which advanced them to the National Championship against Syracuse. A big second half put Syracuse away and crowned the Metropolis Killer B's as DIII National Champions, player/coach Nathan Osborne was named MVP.
