Mian Yawar Zaman

Mian Yawar Zaman son of Mian Muhammad ZamanMinister For Irrigation Punjab, was born on March 21, 1961 at Okara, Pakistan, and graduated in 1980 from Government College Okara.[1] An agriculturist, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002, 2007 and 2013 respectively. At present, he has been given the charge of Minister for Irrigation Punjab. He belongs to a political family. His grandfather, Mian Ghulam Muhammad was a Member of Punjab Legislative Assembly during 1951-55; and his father was Member National Assembly during 1985-88, 1990–93, 1997–99 and also functioned as Minister of State, Federal Minister and Chairman Federal Land Commission.

Early life

Mian Yawar Zaman was born in Okara on March 21, 1961. He is the youngest son of Mian Muhammad Zaman, while his father was an agriculturist and was Member National Assembly during 1985-88, 1990–93, 1997–99 and also functioned as Minister of State, Federal Minister and Chairman Federal Land Commission.His great-grandfather MIAN CHIRAG DIN served as vice chairman District Board Montgomery( now Sahiwal) for 34 years continuously for 25 years he was elected un-opposed.His grandfather Mian Ghulam Mohammad was MLA West Pakistan Assembly

Mian Yawar Zaman got his schooling from Sadiq Public School, Bahawalpur. He is a graduate from Government College Okara in 1980.
