Member Organization (NCRHA)
A Member Organization, also known as Region, is a collection of sports teams, playing competitively against each other at the collegiate level, participating in the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA). Member Organizations are subdivided into smaller and smaller divisions, with the best teams competing at successively higher levels. Member Organizations include teams from a common geographic region.
Definition
A member organization is defined as an collegiate inline hockey league organized to govern collegiate inline hockey clubs from at least four college or universities, and governing a geographical area of more than one state. The Rocky Mountain Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (RMCRHA) and any member organization that may arise within the boundaries of the state of Hawaii are exempt from the geographical requirements.
The term member organization is the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association's equivalent to the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) conferences. The term member organization can be used interchangeably with the terms; association, league and region.
