Mauritius Bank, commonly known as MauBank, is a financial institution based in Mauritius with its head office is situated at Ebene. It is licensed as a commercial bank by the Bank of Mauritius, the country's central bank and the nation's banking regulator. The Mauritius bank is the third largest bank in Mauritius after Mauritius Commercial Bank and State Bank of Mauritius.[1]
History
Mauritius Bank was incorporated on Monday January 4, 2016[2] and issued a commercial banking license by the Bank of Mauritius. It is the fusion of two state-owned Bank : Mauritius Post and Cooperative Bank and National Commercial Bank.[3][4]
