Matt Barron

Matt Barron (born Durham) is Wales international rugby league player for the Newcastle Thunder in Kingstone Press League 1. He plays as a second-row or as a prop.

Barron is a Wales international and was named in the Wales squad to face England at the Keepmoat Stadium prior to England's departure for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[1][2]

He played for Wales in the 2009 European Cup, 2014 European Cup and 2015 European Cup tournaments.
