Playing career
Junior
Brisebois played four seasons (2009–2013) of major junior hockey in the QMJHL with the Lewiston MAINEiacs and Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. While playing with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies during the 2012–13 season, Brisebois lead the QMJHL with the most goals (19), most assists (54), and most points (73) scored by a defenceman, and was named to the 2012–13 QMJHL Second All-Star Team.[1]
Professional
On March 6, 2013, the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League signed Brisebois to a three-year entry-level contract.[2]
During his first professional season, on March 4, 2014, the Coyotes traded Brisebois, along with David Rundblad, to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a 2nd round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.[3]
At the conclusion of his entry-level contract, Brisebois was not tendered a qualifying offer to remain with the Chicago Blackhawks. As a free agent, Brisebois opted to continue his professional career in France, agreeing to a one-year deal with Gothiques d'Amiens on July 9, 2016.[4]
