Mary C. Gnaedinger (1897– 31 July 1976)[1][2] is best known as a magazine editor of pulp magazines. Born Mary Jacobson, she attended the Columbia University School of Journalism. After stints as a society reporter for the Brooklyn Eagle and work for E.P. Dutton, she became editor of the Frank A. Munsey Company's Famous Fantastic Mysteries in 1939, Fantastic Novels in 1940,[2] and possibly A. Merritt's Fantasy Magazine.[3]
