Marwari Boys' College

Marwari Boys' College in Ranchi was founded in 1963. It is affiliated with the Ranchi University and offers Bachelor's degrees in Arts, Commerce and Science.

This college is particularly famous for its Commerce faculty and Vocational Courses, including Bachelor of Bio-technology, Information Technology, Computer Application & Maintenance. In Ranchi University Ranchi this constituent unit has made a record in making a documentary film on Marwari College named "Gurukul Jharkhand" under the Patronage of Dr. Jawed Ahmed, Principal, of the college and under the directorship of Prof. Sushil Ankan and his team of Dr. R. P. Singh, Dr. S. N. Paul, Mr. Anandraj Singh & Mr. B. B.Pandey of this college. Mr. Mrinal pathak has composed and directed the music for this film and Mr.B. D.pathak has written the "mahavidyalaya geet".This documentary film "Gurukul-Jharkhand" is mile stone in the history of Ranchi University. The film has been written and designed by the eminent film director of the region Mr.Sushil Ankan, Reader in Philosophy,Marwari College, Ranchi.
