Martim Afonso Chichorro (1250-1313) was a Portuguese nobleman, member of the Court of Denis of Portugal (his half brother).[1]
Biography
Born in Portugal, Martim was the illegitimate son of Afonso III of Portugal and Madragana, daughter of Aloandro Ben Bekar.[2]
His wife was Inês Lourenço de Valadares (or de Sousa), daughter of Lourenço Soares de Valadares.[3] Martim Afonso and his wife had five children Martim Afonso Chichorro II,[4] Maria Afonso Chichorro (1280-1379), Constança, Margarida, and Vasco Afonso de Sousa.
