Martín Alberto Vizcarra Cornejo (Lima, 22 March 1963) is a Peruvian engineer and politician. He is the incumbent Minister of Transport and Communications and the First Vice President of Peru.[1]
Vizcarra graduated from the National University of Engineering in Lima.[2] He served as Regional President of Moquegua (2011-2014).[1]
In the 2016 general election, Vizcarra runs with the Peruanos Por el Kambio party as candidate for first vice president and as running mate of Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.[3]
