Manjeet Chillar (born 18 August 1986) is an Indian professional kabaddi player. He was the member of India national kabaddi team that won Asian games gold medal in 2014 and Asian indoor games in 2013 in Incheon.

The government of India conferred the Arjuna Award on him for his achievements in the sports. He was also the member of state team of Haryana.

Early life

He was born in Nizampur located in the state of Haryana, India. Manjeet Chillar was initially a wrestler, but an injury to his nose saw him return to his village where he started playing Kabaddi.

Pro Kabaddi League

He was the captain of Bangaluru Bulls in pro kabaddi league season 1 and season 2 and captain of Puneri Paltan in season 3 and season 4.

He was awarded the most valuable player of the tournament award in the second season of pro kabaddi.

World Cup 2016

Chillar was a member of the gold medal-winning team at the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup.[1]
