ManageWP, LLC is company that provides a website management dashboard of the same name that allows users to manage multiple websites in one place.[1][2][3][4][5]
Platform
ManageWP was founded by Vladimir Prelovac in 2010 in Belgrade, Serbia. ManageWP platform is aimed to be a WordPress productivity tool for saving time.[6] The platform allows updates, backups, monitoring, creation of client reports, white label tools, managing teams and clients among other tools.[7][8][9][10][11]
The ManageWP platform allows its users to manage their websites by registering at the ManageWP website. After installing the plugin, the site is enabled and manageable with ManageWP.[12][13] Once setup, the user can view all his websites in the dashboard,[13] create backups and use other features to control all their websites from the interface.[13] The interface also allows site specific controls such as backups & updates and displays a website uptime monitoring status.[13][14]
Acquisition
In September 2016, the platform was acquired by the internet registrar and web hosting company, GoDaddy.[15][16] GoDaddy having been interested in investing in WordPress considered ManageWP to be by far the leading tool for WordPress website management.[17][18][19] It is also reported that none of the platform's current services will change as a result of the acquisition, rather GoDaddy will incorporate some of the services in its own tool set as well.[17][20][21]
