Maine State Route 139 is a 58.67 mile route ranging from U.S. Route 1A in Winterport at its eastern terminus to U.S. Route 2, SR 8, and U.S. Route 201A in Norridgewock.
Route Description
SR 139 begins at U.S. Route 1A in Winterport. Shortly after its eastern terminus, SR 139 has a 1.67 mile concurrency with SR 69. It branches off of SR 69 and heads west. Once SR 139 enters Monroe, SR 139 intersects SR 141. This is SR 141's northern terminus. SR then enters Brooks and intersects SR 7. It also intersects SR 203 at its northern terminus. Then, SR 139 enters Thorndike and starts a 3.5 mile concurrency with SR 220. The concurrency ends in the town of Unity. SR 139 stays alone for 0.69 miles before having a 0.18 mile concurrency with U.S. Route 202 and SR 9. Entering Benton, SR 139 has a 2.23 mile concurrency with SR 11 and SR 100. It then has a 0.22 mile concurrency with U.S. Route 201 in Fairfield. After the concurrency, SR 139 heads west and has an interchange with Interstate 95. It then has a 2.78 mile concurrency with SR 104. It intersects SR 23 during the concurrency. SR 139 then splits apart from SR 104. SR 139 then heads north and has its western terminus at U.S. Route 201A, U.S. Route 2, and SR 8 in Norridgewock.
