Mahadev Jankar (Marathi: महादेव जानकरमहादेव जानकर (Born on 19 April 1968) is senior cabinate minister in government of maharashtra as Minister for Cattle and Dairy Development He is Indian politician and founder and national president of Rashtriya Samaj Paksha (National Social Party) an Indian political party based in Maharashtra, founded in 2003. Jankar was born in a middle-class family in small village in Maan which is in Satara district. Jankar completed his Engineering degree from Walchand College of Engineering.[4]
Political career
Jankar contested the Madha Lok Sabha seat in the 2009 elections where he finished in third place behind the winner, Sharad Pawar of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Subhash Deshmukh of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He also contested for a Lok Sabha seat in 2014 from Baramati where he finished in second place behind the winner, Supriya Sule of the Nationalist Congress Party.
He was elected as Member of Legislative Council on 23 January 2015.
He was promoted as cabinet minister in July,2016.
