Madhavan Ayyappath (Malayalam: മാധവൻ അയ്യപ്പത്ത്; born April 24, 1934) is a poet and translator from the south Indian state of Kerala. He is a recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award.[1]
Biography
Ayyappath was born in 1934 in Kunnamkulam, Thrissur as the son of Peringott Karumathil Ramunni Nair and Ayyappath Lakshikkutti Amma. He obtained a BA Economics degree from Madras University and did his masters in English literature.[2]
