Madame Bovary is a 2000 British miniseries directed by Tim Fywell and based on the novel of the same name by 19th-century French author Gustave Flaubert. It is aired in two parts between 6 and 13 February in the U.S.A on WGBH-TV and from 10 to 11 April in the United Kingdom on BBC Two.

Reception
The miniseries was nominated for the British Academy Television Awards for best costume design and best make-up and hair design.[1] It was also nominated for a Golden Globe award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV.[1]
