Love Star is a bilingual electropop duo formed by Mexican singer Starla (aka. Adriana Fernandez Arias) and Los Angeles guitarist The Doctor (aka.William Ferreira Alves III). The group formed in LA in 2010 and their debut EPHappiness” included the iTunes Download of the Week[1] in the US and Mexico single, “Felicidad”.

Their brand of Latin-influenced electropop has earned them recognition by major publications like People en Español and El Mexicano among others.

The success of their debut EP has allowed them to tour extensively, performing shows at the Museum of Latin American Art,[2] Fiesta en la Calle 2012,[3] and sharing the stage with major acts like Dave Navarro,[4] Los Prisioneros[5] and Tommy Lee.[6]

On April 14, 2015, the duo released “Capítulo 1” the first chapter of their second album “Espectro”,[7] which was produced, recorded, and mixed by 16-time Grammy Winner Thom Russo,[8][9] known for his work with artists such as Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, Enrique Iglesias, Maná and Juanes among others. “Espectro” features the singles “Busco”, and “Respirar”.

The Official video for “Busco”, reacher 120,000 views in its first month.[10]
