Lorna Laidlaw (born 1 February 1963 in Birmingham) is an English actress. She began acting with the Birmingham Youth Theatre. Her parents are of African descent.
She is best known for her role as Mrs Tembe on the BBC soap opera, Doctors, a regular character she has played since January 2011.[1]
She is also well known for her years spent presenting BBC Children's show, Tikkabilla.[2]
She plays the much-loved character Miss Smiley in the Children's BBC series "Grandpa in My Pocket".
