Lodhra
The Lodhra (Urdu: لودهرا), are a tribe of Jatt, found mainly in the Districts of Lodhran and Hafizabad of Punjab, Pakistan and some in Indian Punjab. Lodhra are considered to be one of the oldest Jatt Clan. Before Converting to Islam, Lodhra were Sikh. The tribe claims descent from Lodhra, a son of Sukhram Dev, a Manhas, Rajpoot. Lodhra is said to have come to the district in the 17th Century, and founded the town of Lodhran. The tribe converted to Islam in the reign of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
In current situation, Lodhra are Muslim and Sikh both and residing both in Pakistan and India.. Lodhra are included in prominent Sikh Jatt Sub-castes.
