My message
The first telefilm of the series is Mi mensaje (Spanish: My message), directed by Israel Adrián Caetano and scripted by Marcela Guerty and Pamela Rementeria. It is about the last year of Eva Perón, who died of cancer in 1952. Laura Novoa played Evita, and Vanesa González had the lead role as Evita's nurse, Elena. Elena helps Evita to write the book Mi mensaje, and faces the resistance of his anti-peronist family. The real Evita wrote such a book before her death, but its authenticity has been held in doubt for some time.[2] The telefilm achieved 22 points of rating, raising the regular performance of the channel, but still behind the competitor telenovela Malparida.[3]
