LitCamp

Lit Camp is a nonprofit writers' conference founded by Janis Cooke Newman and held at Mayacamas Ranch in Calistoga.[1] Attendance is limited to forty participants (fiction, memoir, and narrative nonfiction). Previous faculty has included Pulitzer Prize winner Adam Johnson and T.J. Stiles, as well as representatives from McSweeney’s, The Believer, ZYZZYVA, The Rumpus and 826 Valencia. The conference is unique in its size and faculty-to-participant ratio, roughly one to three.[2]
