Lister Tonge
Lister Tonge, AKC (b Oldham 23 December 1951) has been Dean of Monmouth since 2012.[1]
Tonge was educated at Heywood Grammar School, Salford Grammar School, King's College London and Loyola University Chicago;[2] and ordained in 1976.[3] After a curacy at Liverpool Parish Church he was Precentor of Johannesburg Cathedral from 1978 to 1979. From then until 199i he was at the Community of the Resurrection. He was then Chaplain to the Chaplain to the Community of St John the Baptist until his appointment as Dean.
