List of countries by wealth
Countries are sorted by the total value of wealth possessed by their inhabitants at a set point in time. United Nations definition of inclusive wealth is "a monetary measure which includes the sum of natural, human and physical assets". In economics, 'wealth' corresponds to the accounting term 'net worth'. Analytical emphasis may be on its determinants or distribution. Since 2010, the Credit Suisse Research Institute's "Global Wealth Databook" has been a leading reference on global wealth.
