List of closed South Australian railway stations
This lists closed, demolished or otherwise defunct railway stations, lines or branches in Adelaide and South Australia.
Closed stations
There are three extant closed stations on the passenger railway network in the city of Adelaide, South Australia:
- Clapham (Belair line) (closed 28 April 1995)
- Hawthorn (Belair line) (closed 28 April 1995)
- Islington Works (Gawler Central line) (closed 2000)
Demolished stations
There are also several stations that have been closed and demolished:
- Port Dock closed 13 September 1981; some of the original platforms and the goods shed survive as part of the National Railway Museum, and a new station Jackets siding within the museum is in use for special events.
- Cheltenham Racecourse Siding (Outer Harbor line), closed 1953
- Cheltenham Racecourse Closed in 2009, demolished in 2012; replaced with St Clair, across the road from original station
- Original Christie Downs, (Seaford line)
- GMH (at the end of a spur off the Gawler line just north of Nurlutta)
- Golf Links (Grange line), closed 1961
- Grand Junction (Gawler line), opened 1857, closed 1859
- Old Grange (Grange line)
- Holdens (Grange line), closed 1992
- Keswick (Belair, Seaford & Tonsley lines), demolished 2013 replaced by Adelaide Showground
- Mile End Goods (Belair line)
- Old Oaklands (Seaford line), opened 1913, closed and demolished 2008; replaced by the new Oaklands station closer to the Morphett Road-Diagonal Road level crossing.
- South Brighton (Seaford line), closed 1976
- Sleeps Hill (Belair line)
- Torrens Bridge, (Pt Adelaide line), closed 1888
- Tube Mills (Gawler Central line)
- Yerlo (Outer Harbor line), closed 13 September 1981; replaced by North Haven
