Fifth Harmony is an American five-piece girl group consisting of members Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui. The group has received 35 awards from 71 nominations. They are the recipients of 1 iHeartRadio Music Award, 2 Kid's Choice Awards, 3 MTV Europe Music Awards, 3 MTV Video Music Award, 1 People's Choice Award, 6 Radio Disney Music Awards, 1 American Music Award, and 7 Teen Choice Awards.
The group signed a joint deal with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and L.A. Reid's Epic Records after being formed and placing third in the second series of The X Factor. The following year, the group released their first EP, Better Together. In 2014, the music video for "Miss Movin' On" earned the group their first MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist at the 2014 ceremony, also making them the first girl group since 2008 to win a Video Music Award. Billboard ranked the group at number 21 in their 21 under 21 list for 2013.[1] The group was placed 5 in 2014[2] and 2 in 2015.[3]
Fifth Harmony released their first studio album, Reflection, in 2015. The third single "Worth It" was nominated for Song of Summer at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. In late 2015, Fifth Harmony was named Group of the Year at the Billboard Women in Music annual ceremony. That same year, the group was listed on Spotify's Most Influential Artists Under 25, an annual list based on streaming performance.[4]
